Department of Broadcast and Television

The department was established under the initiation of Su Min (famous director, former deputy director of Beijing People’s Art Theatre), Chen Duo (CCTV host), Sun Yu (famous film director), Hongyun (CCTV hostess) and Du Min (broadcasting instructor of Beijing People's Broadcasting Corporation). The department has employed a famous Israeli director to give courses and experimental teaching on TV programs. Specials and art films produced by the department have been showed on CCTV and CETV. The major of broadcasting and host emphasizes to improve students’ knowledge and EQ, and to training their abilities of language expression, stage hosting, TV hosting and audience organizing. In 2002, 5 national websites including www.cnnc.info, www.edude.net, www.china-show.com, www.nationalculture.com and www.nationmidwest.com established the first base in China to train network hostesses for these pre-determined websites. In 2004, www.china-show.com relocated in Shengji and issued the first certificates for network hostesses. The major of broadcasting and dubbing aims to train dub talents for movies and TVs as well as recording talents of digital fusion. The department is now dubbing for the American film the Adventure Island.
