Department of Fine Arts and Design (Animation and Cartoon)

The department was established under the leadership of Liu Yuansheng (former deputy principal of the Central Academy of Drama), Zhang Kangmei (dean of Stage Art Department of the Central Academy of Drama) and Huang Yiru (Scholar at the Central Academy of Drama). Teachers include a number of famous experts and professors. The department opened courses in 1999 integrating computer design for stage art, animation art design and ads design. From then on, graphic design, animation design, production, stage art design and fine arts basic have become new majors of the department. These majors have promising job opportunities.
